New Boston Elementary's Kindergarten team recognized by CHRISTUS St. Michael!

CHRISTUS St. Michael recognized New Boston Elementary’s Kindergarten team for the highest usage in the GoNoodle’s regional school collection.  The Director of Nursing for St. Michael’s Texarkana hospital, Louise Thornell, spoke to our gathering of teachers and students at the Oakview Primary building on Thursday, congratulating them for their successful use and integration of GoNoodle.  GoNoodle, a program designed to bring energy and excitement to classrooms, provides media at teachers’ disposal which are designed to engagement students via movement videos which encourage them to run, jump, dance and stretch for a few minutes at a time.  CHRISTUS St. Michael has been hosting this program in Bowie, Cass, Morris and Red River Counties since 2013.

NBES’s Oakview Campus was the top school by teacher video plays, 2,647, and kindergarten video plays, 776.
