New Boston ISD’s Gifted and Talented Program is currently accepting K-12 referrals for the 2020-2021 school year.
Gifted and Talented students excel consistently or show the potential to excel in general intellectual ability, specific subject matter, aptitude, and creative thinking. Referred students are identified using a variety of measures, including academic and gifted characteristic scales, standardized tests of cognitive abilities, and portfolios of work. The identification process will take place by the G/T Committee during the fall and early spring semesters.
Referrals forms are available in the Oakview Primary School office at 530 Hospital Drive. For more information, contact Scott Hobson, District G/T Coordinator, at (903) 628-8900 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Referrals will be accepted now through October 16, 2020.
