New Boston Independent School District is located in New Boston, Texas - the county seat of Bowie County in extreme northeast Texas. New Boston ISD was established in 1890 and consists of five campuses - Oakview Primary, Crestview Elementary, New Boston Middle School, New Boston High School, and Buddy Alford DAEP. Gary VanDeaver, Ed.D., Superintendent, the school board, administration, faculty, and community are committed to an educational system that will provide challenging learning experiences for every child. The district is determined that each student will become a productive citizen capable of making a positive contribution to a global society.
